I wanted my solar setup so that I could live off the grid whenever I wanted. I wanted to be completely self-contained and self-sufficient. I still do and feel it is smart to be able to have something that provides those things if a natural disaster or conflict were to happen. I also just want to have the option so that I can boondock for free on BLM land and chill out for months at a time if I wanted. So my RV solar panel install video will show how I mounted the panels to my RV.
I had to give up my RV a few months later (you can read about why here) so I never fully ran my wires and hooked it all up. I did, however, save them and I’m going to be installing one of the panels on my van this winter.
