Why Do You Need Van Window Covers?
When I built my DIY camper van earlier this year one main accessory I needed to feel comfortable was blackout window covers. If you plan to do more stealth camping than anything then you will want to black out your windows or be able to whenever you need to. If you are doing more campground camping or boondocking then it doesn’t matter if they are blacked out but you will still want something to cover your windows so no one sees you getting dressed or using the bathroom, and even just relaxing in privacy is nice.
How To Make Your Own
Below is part two of my tutorial on how to make blackout van window covers. Part one was just talking about other upgrades to the van I was doing and showing you the items I will be using for the actual tutorial. If you want to see that you can go to my YouTube channel by clicking on this video and looking below for my picture. I have also listed the items under the video if that is easier for you!
